The theme of the 2013 Minneapolis Home + Garden Show's Feature Gardens is Classic TV!

Come down to the Minneapolis Convention Center to check out the following:

  • “Leave it to Beaver” by Bever Landscaping – A quintessential American family landscape with evergreens, ornamental grasses, tulips, hyacinth, daffodils, cyclamen, and other fragrant flowers.

  • “I Dream of Jeannie” by NRD Landscape Design + Build – Jeannie’s bold color palette comes to life with a rose pink flowering crab apple tree, a purple flowering magnolia, fuchsia rhododendrons, and colorful annuals.
  • “Miami Vice” by Mickman Brothers, Inc.  –  A cabana surrounded by lush plantings of palms, philodendrons, hibiscus, tropical grasses, and more.

  • “Green Acres” by Landscape Design & Construction – A “place to be” for entertaining, with two custom arbors and spring plantings including river birch, specialty spruce, lilacs, and a weeping pussy willow.

  • “Gunsmoke” by Stonewall, Inc. – A Western inspired garden with evergreens, aspens, grasses, masses of tulips and hyacinths, and a rustic bar with bar stools made from old saddles.

  • “Fantasy Island” by OFLORA Gardens – Two very different fantasy environments—an Old West–style mountain house and a Far East–style Japanese garden— hosted by Mr. Roarke and Tattoo

  • “Cheers” by Linder’s Greenhouses, Inc. –  A welcoming outdoor space where “everybody knows your name” with an array of brightly colored tropicals and other annuals.

  • “Home Improvement” by Holm & Olson Landscape & Design Construction  – An outdoor living area with a pergola and plenty of room for preparing food, grilling, dining, and relaxing around the fire pit—and Wilson, the neighbor, of course.

A panel of judges determined the top three gardens LIVE at the show!
