1. Don't clutter! In small spaces, keep the walls neutral, and use fewer decorative pieces.

2.  Outdoors, don't be shy about layering textures and mixing cultural elements.

3. Use a gallery wall to display your varying interests and artifacts

4. In a bold colored room, try to make the artwork and decorative elements fairly similar in color.

5. Eclectic can be elegant! Use metallic and reflective items and surfaces instead of larger, colorful elements.
