AMERICAN PICKERS, Cleveland, Des Moines, FRANK FRITZ, GREAT BIG HOME AND GARDEN SHOW, HISTORY CHANNEL, I-X CENTER, Ohio No comments
Frank Fritz travels all over the country with fellow picker Mike Wolf for the History Channel’s “American Pickers.” He started picking early and has been collecting rocks and beer cans since he was a young kid. That passion only got stronger and now he hits the pavement along with Mike to find the best treasures, and often in the most surprising places!
Frank gave us a little peak into his career and where he started:
1. What was your first job?
I installed fire protection systems in homes and later became a fire & safety inspector. I loved that job!
2. Most memorable career moment to date?
When I was asked to be on History Channel's American Pickers!
3. What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part of my job is explaining that just because something is old, doesn't mean that it is worth a lot of money. Some items may have more sentimental value than they do financial value.
Make sure to stop by and listen to Frank Fritz at the Great Big Home + Garden Show on Saturday, February 15 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.!
